Founded by Chef Randolph Bancroft (affectionately known as "Dolphin"), this authentic culinary venture began with a childhood fascination for the local Bajan fish trucks and traditional recipes passed down by his grandmother. After perfecting his craft through street catering and cooking across Wales, Randolph established Dolphins in Reading during the 1990s to answer a community craving for true, home-cooked West Indian meals. Today, that journey evolves with a brand-new central Reading restaurant designed to introduce rich Caribbean heritage to a whole new audience while welcoming back long-time friends.
